I'm feeling a bit anal today and really feel the need to catalogue my DVD's! DVD Profiler don't seem to do a version for Mac, does anyone know if a mac equivalent exists?
Cheers!
There is no equivalent program as far as I know but there is some online services like http://www.dvdtracker.com but I'll don't know how good they are.
But I'm running my dvdprofiler on a slow 133 Mhz laptop. Better that than no dvdprofiler even it's a PC program.
But I'll think if there is a Mac Programmer who contact the Intervoactive Software so could a porting be able. Me thinks.

Is there an equivalent program now, or still not good? :(

There is a mac version of Movie Collector (http://www.collectorz.com/movie/) and also this one (http://www.macfiles.org/Multimedia/Movies-Database-Mac.html).

I use delicious library, scan the barcodes with isight
Just downloaded the trial of delicious. Never heard of it before - looks pretty good, I like that it can catalogue books, CD, Games and Movies all in one ap - scanning the barcode with iSight is also fabulous.
Any down sides before I cough up £20 for the full version? I too run Profiler on my clapped out pc - but I'd like to retire it and just have my iMac running in my study, so this would be great if it works well.

Last time i checked you weren't able to publish your collection on line. Whether they've changed that yet i don't know and whether that'd bother you is another matter.
Great app tho and worth the price. I've recently started using it again since getting a mac with a built in isight.

You might want to wait for version 2 to arrive, it's currently being worked on.

If you buy it after December 17th (I think), you get the v2 upgrade for free.
Got this today, after umm-ing and ahh-ing about it for ages. Great fun and very handy for keeping track of lends and stuff.
v2 sounds like it'll be quicker, being Leopard only. Can't wait.
So which is best Delicious Library or Movie Collector ?
Both similar prices?
