Steve Irwin is perfect for those tv shows he does, but tbh i found his over-enthusiasm became a bit annoying in this film. Though to be fair, i watched it several months ago,and i'd had a fair few tinnies before watching.:D
Poor deluded Hannay:p
Never have I walked out of a film. This piece of crap was my first:oh-hum:
But surely going into a film with Steve Irwin you have to have some idea of what it's going to be about?.
The guy is as mad as a box of frogs but i think that's the appeal he has with his audiences. He's very passionate about his work and his enthusiasm is a factor in this. Some people get this some don't and pass him off as some nutter.
I've not seen it yet but i reckon it'll be great post-Chrimbo fun. I thought the trailer was one of the 5 best last year in whetting the appetite. I don't expect a well constructed character development, Oscar worthy acting or a plausible plot. Just the fact Steve's got his own movie to do Steve type stuff for 90 odd minutes get's a  from me.
Maybe my sense of humour is a little left-field.
Danger! Danger! Danger!
I saw his prog on Saturday pm and this dvd'll be on my Christmas list as a result!
In DVD reviewer, the film got 5/5  but I can see why
oh and Thomasd, you have no taste ;) :p

I'm getting this for Christmas, I've not seen it yet, but am really looking forward to it.
A lot of people have complained about this movie, but surely it does exactly what it says on the tin. FFS it's Steve Irwin doing what he does best, harrassing dangerous animals! Crikey Mate!
its simple really, if you enjoy his shows, you'll enjoy this movie.

I like the shows but theres no place for it in the cinema
It is pretty funny - purely for the fact that Steve Irwin is madness on stilts and that he's not acting! As you can tell by some of his wife's lines they have absolutely no training on acting :)
Comedy! Spider, Snakes and Croc styleee!

A bit elitist of you. What does have a place in the cinema? Only those films that you happen to like?

Films based on reality shows like that and Jackass. Dont get me wrong Id like to see Jackass but I dont thing cinema is the right avenue for it.
Dont know about that... I watched Jackass the movie with a few mates the other night and we were laughing our asses off!! I can only imagine what a packed cinema would be like!!

So have any of you Croc fans got Steve's other DVDs?
I have the first release, The Crocodile Hunter Collection (R1), and will definitely be getting The Croc Files (also R1) at some point in the future.

He might've did it by accident, in the same way I accidentally reported a 4 or so year old thread yesterday with no replies. Doh.

i blame the "related threads" bit at the bottom of threads ;)
