A mate at work is thinking of buying a camcorder so his mother can take some videos of her Grandchildren, and has found a cheap one ( Samsung VPW-70 for £220) at Argos. But he wants to know whether they record onto a tape, or disc, and if it's easy to transfer the pics onto a normal video recorder. I'm afraid i know nothing of camcorders, anyone help?
