INSOMNIA(R1)-Commentary?

Does anyone have a copy of Insomnia R1 (The Al Pacino version)

Great movie but all the extra features seem to be unobtainable.

Is there any way of accessing the special features like commentary etc without using a DVD Rom drive.

Since my computer won't accept R1 discs it is bloody annoying.

:gag: If there isn't can any one tell me if the extra features are any good.

you need to go to the production diaries in the menu i believe.

The commentary is definitely accessable from a normal DVD player as I have listed to it in mine - the film is rearranged into the order that film was shot it and the commentary runs over that. I'll double check how you get to it when my girlfriend has finished watching the drivel that is the national lottery draw.
