"Chicago" - release date?

Does anyone know when the R1 release of Chicago is going to be?

Well seeing as it is still at the cinema at the moment over here I would say about 4-6 months, probably late summer.

I think you're looking at September at the earliest. The theatrical release has only just "gone wide" in the US to coincide with the Oscar noms. If it stays in theatres beyond the Oscars and wins big and becomes a $100 million plus hit we might have to wait longer (as Miramax will surely then give this the deluxe dvd treatment?).

I do hope they give us a seamless branching option for the filmed but cut number "class". (It was cut for pacing but it would still be great to have the option).
