View Full Version : Halifax Rugby League, can we avoid relegation, OMG look whats happaned NOW!!!!!
My beloved team Halifax Rugby League are having their worst season ever in the Super League. 1 win from 11 games, that 1 win was on the opening day of the season. 10 losses on the trot now including losses against our closest relegation rivals.
1 Bradford Bulls 18
2 Leeds Rhinos 18
3 Hull FC 14
4 Wigan Warriors 13
5 Castleford Tigers 13
6 St Helens 10
7 Warrington Wolves 10
8 Widnes Vikings 8
9 London Broncos 8
10 Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 6
11 Huddersfield Giants 6
12 Halifax RLFC 0
the smallest budget in super league and the smallest squad. W have been hit with the suspension for 28 days of our main playmaker Martyn Moana. Our injury list is now very bad and we are struggling to rasie a team each week. We are 4 points adrift of the rest, can we avoid relegation. The odds are massivly stacked against us, we are getting beat heavily, last week we lost 58-12 to Wigan, its fair to say we are the whipping boys of the league, we dont lose closely we get hammered each week.
So can we stay up.

No your edit

(from Wakefield.) :p
Have a read of what the T&Cs (http://thedvdforums.com) say about masked swearing.
Brad
The only chance I see for Halifax to be honest is to target the games they can win very carefully AND ensure the players are really up for those games.
I've only seen Fax against my team and you did pretty well, but when they played Wakey the other week the players didn't look interested.
They should be looking to beat London, Hudders, Wakey and Widnes. Forget the other games, using them as training exercises to try different things an once the whistle goes forget all about the result.
Oh and get rid of that PA bloke who announces the teams.
UPDATE:
We have just had 2 points deducted for breaching the salary cap, we now have no points from 11 games.
This goes from bad to worse.

Thanks
home against Hull tonight, we NEED a win tonight badly, could this be the day for us to kick statr our season 13 games into it.
Oops...
We went over to the Shay tonight, cos we fancied watching a live game, and we won't be going to Odsal till Sunday,
'Fax were outplayed again tonight, theydidn't look interested.
TBH I think Tony Anderson needs to get em to play like they did in the game against Leeds, it was the best I've seen them play in a long time
EDIT: D'oh forgot score, was
60-10 to Hull
got back an hour or so ago, we left 5 minutes b4 the end, we are the whipping biys of super league

Not a CHANCE TBH. Some class venues for next seasons away games for you though - Oldaham, Whitehaven, Batley and Leigh among them :D :D :D :D

I don't really think anyone can fancy Halifax to survive this season :nono:
Wigan are looking pretty good with the youngsters, Briscoe was class against Leeds, pitty we lost. :oh-hum:
Riding high in 4th now, bleedin' Yorkshire teams dominating the league.

do you really think we are going to get relegated - I think not mate ;)
So we lost one, so what - we win our game in hand and we are still top.
If you would like a wager on us winning again - go right ahead :)
i will not get involved in this childish banter, talk to the hand:wave:
