Not sure why they are scheduling it this early. After a summer of friendlies and watching villa nearly spend the imaginary £20m transfer kitty, i'd liek to watch my club play.

Don't worry about it ... there will be no Villa Players picked by Sven anyway, apart from Vassell if he is lucky enough.
Fergie will be mad even before the season has started - so will Wenger!
