Thats pretty much what I excepted, if it wasn't for the knee injury to Matthew Hoggard then the squad could have been unchanged.

i thought Flintoff wasn't considered fit enough for the england squad at present.

Just scored 150+ in recent county game. Sounds fit enough to me :thumbs:

"Andrew Flintoff is back playing for Lancashire as a batsman and we will continue to monitor his fitness, but we didn't consider him for this Test match as we feel that he's not yet ready for the rigours of a five-day game," said chairman of selectors David Graveney.


I think England are more successful without him anyway.
