Anyone Play Tennis?

I've always played Tennis infrequently (maybe 10-15 times a year when its hot and no wind!) socially since I was a kid and can whack the ball about ok but always has problems keeping the thing in.

Anyway I used my mates racquet the other day and it was a revelation hitting the ball compared to my heavy old racquet I've had for years and enjoyed it so much I've ordered myself a couple of new racquets.

So to the point....I now want to get some lessons so I can get to a decent standard and maybe join a club or something. What is a decent price for an hours tuition theses days? Some of the prices I've seen seem well over the top:eek:

No idea about lessons but what racquet's have you ordered?.I play with a Prince Triple Threat Rebel.

Couldnt afford anything brilliant as on a tight budget just wanted something more modern and certainly lighter than my old one so went for a couple of Pro Kennex Ti Destinys that were in a sale.

Hoping that I'll improve my game quite a bit with lots of practice and then maybe look at some of the more top end racquets.

I play tennis i used to play for my county .my prices for lessons where 10-15 pound they got more expensize as i improved.

Used to play every Sunday until about 5-6 years ago and since then have only played about twice a year (that's what having kids does :rolleyes: )

I am hoping to start playing more again this year (same as my Golf)
