Scotland are supposed to have odds of 9/2 to beat the Germans tomorrow which is the longest odds ever for a home match.
Who knows it might be worth a wee flutter. I think Germany are very over rated and we always rise to the occasion against the big boys.
Pick a goal scorer to score the first goal and we win 1-0 is a minimum 60-1 at William Hills.
Anyone figure out who might be our penalty taker ???
Bit optimistic thinking we'll get into the penalty box at some stage tomorrow!
No chance of a Scotland win.

Without Barry Ferguson and James McFadden, and with 'Bertie Bomb-Scare' as our manager, we have the same chance of winning this game as I have of becoming the next pope.
I hope I'm wrong, but I'm sure I won't be :(
Gotta admit....the Scots ain't got a pryer....1-1 against New Zealand ffs (who hadn't played for 9 months)!!!!! Apparantly there is going to be the odd running battle tomorrow in Glasgow as about 2 billion (if the daily record are to be beleived) neo nazis descend into out quaint town. I suggest putting them all in Hampden Park with all the Neds....locking the doors....and let them fight it out (hopefullly obliterating each other in the process).

The only way Scotland is gonna get a result from this game is if they manage to pull off an "Italian job", which ain't that far off from the way the Germans play, except with a little flair in their game... :D

Not a hope, I think we will be taught a severe lesson.
Looking forward to the U-21 game tonight though, I think we have a good chance of making a game of it there. :)

From BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/2970786.stm)
Police on hooligan alert
Security has been tightened at strategic travel points around Scotland to counter the threat of international football hooliganism.
The move follows a warning by police that foreign "thugs" may cause trouble at Scotland's match against Germany in Glasgow.
Police intelligence suggests that football hooligans are making their way from Germany and elsewhere in Britain to cause trouble at the European Championship qualification match.
A dedicated police team has been set up to deal with the problem and security has been stepped up at airports, ferry terminals and train stations.
Police from Germany will be in Glasgow to help Strathclyde officers spot troublemakers.
'Excellent reputation'
The match, at Hampden Park, is a near sell-out and the police are determined to avert any trouble.
Chief Superintendent John Malcolm said the threat of violence was being treated "extremely seriously".
He said: "Genuine Scottish football supporters have an excellent reputation and are renowned the world over for their good behaviour.
"However, this small minority of people intent on causing disruption are not real fans.
"We know who these troublemakers are and I can only stress that if they do come to Glasgow police will be watching their every move."
On the pitch, the match will be Scotland manager Berti Vogts' biggest test since he was appointed last January.
Scotland are third in their group with seven points after four games.
Germany, who were runners-up in the 2002 World Cup, top the group with seven points from three games and are favourites to automatically qualify for the finals in Portugal next year.
Vogts was capped 96 times for West Germany and coached his country to victory in the 1996 European Championships.

4-1 Germany. I fear the Scots will get mauled and there may well be trouble before and/or after the game.
I'd like Scotland to do well and Germany are a pretty poor side but I really can't see them getting anything against them after recent poor performances

Ever the optimist/mug, i've just stuck a couple of quid on Kenny Miller to score first and we get a 1-1 draw @ odd's of 50/1.
here's hoping.

4-1 might be generous to the Scots.
As for trouble; only if it involves the report hooligans travelling north for the game.

LOL - it's not because I don't like Scotland, Germany are my 2nd side (after England) as I'm half-German.`

Anyone see the U-21 match last night?
Great performance from the boys (2-2) and that was without the likes of Stewart, McFadden, Maloney and Hughes. I actually thought we were the better side and that makes it 8 home games without defeat under Bonhof.
Shame about the game taking place at the moment....:oh-hum:

Can't wait to see our boy in the Prem next season! :notworthy
He might not be your boy though by then ;)
So 1 - 1 ? Great result for scotland, they may have raised their game for this match though.

Of course he'll be our boy, Kenny ain't going anywhere!
I've just watched the game, Kenny and Colin Cameron were superb, how the Jocks missed the men from Molineux in that New Zealand game!
Maybe Berti is finally starting to listen to the 'advice' he is being given. Picks Cameron and Miller and Scotland look a better side.
We might manage to make it as far as the play-offs after all. Then we get humped!

Amen to that! In fact it sounds so good lets just see the last bit again......
is to the Prem with Wolves. :D
Well done to Scotland for an excellent performance and a good result.
With the likes of McFadden, Maloney and Hughes coming through the future isn't as bleak as some would suggest. Even Christian Dailly played well!!
If McFadden had been playing instead of Devlin, I think a win could have been had, that Germany team was pants!
