As above really. Have a friend looking to buy one of the above for cheap, want to know if it's region hackable, any problems with RCE etc...

I've just bought one for a second player, not bad really.
It's region hackable via remote - supports RCE (can be manually region set) but no macro off.
Only problem I seem to have found is it skips a bit on CD-R's, but I'm gonna let ASDA swap it for me to see if it's a player problem with just mine or if it's a general problem.
All in all though, not too bad really :o)
