Help needed on Scart lead connections..

Can anybody help on the best way to connect my Scart leads to the following:
T.V. 2 Scart connections ( AV1 + AV2 )
DVD ( Scan SC2000 ) 1 Scart 'in' + 1 Scart 'out'
Cable Digital box - 2 Scart connections
Mono Video - 1 Scart 'out'

Without knowing your kit...but most follow the same conventions.

Try this (its not the only possibility):

DVD AV1 scart out -> TV AV1 (RGB between DVD and TV for top quality - set DVD for RGB).

Digital box AV1 scart out -> TV AV2 (S video).

VCR scart out -> DVD AV2 scart in (RGB pass thro, with DVD powered off, for best quality watching pre-recorded videos - shame about the sound).

Digital box coax -> VCR uhf in (tune VCR to cable uhf freq - shame you don't have a scart in).



This should let you watch DVD whilst recording on VCR from cable.
