Ive just purchased one of these thinking i could handset hack the beleeding thing and ive tried both the hack from 709 online and the repeat 387679 hack but neither work , has there been a firmware change that i am the victim of or could anybody enlighten me.
I got rid of my relatively trouble free alba to get this puppy and would be heartbroken if its not region free.

:( Apparently there are two firmware versions, one is hackable and the other is not i'm afraid. Check out the dvd reviewer hack forum and you will get the info you need.
