Argos Television

Hope somebody here can help me. My brother got some argos vouchers on his wedding and there isnt much he wants from argos, so he's decided to buy a new television with them. He wants a widescreen tv probably 28 inch and wonders which one to get. He's going to add another £200 on top of the vouchers so the budget will be around £550.
Any suggestions?

Hi there Red Dragon (or I think that's how it translates ;)),

Buying from Argos, you're not going to get a very good price. But, hey if he's got £300 of vouchers I guess that's not so important. Argos sell the Philips PW6005 I think, and that's got a nice picture. Should come in at under £500 for the 28" model. It's recently been superceded by the PW6006, but it's only really the casing which has changed much (although they've added a radio to it as well).

Thanks for the reply John, I'll have a look at the tv with my brother. Oh and yes Draig Goch it does translate to Red Dragon. A cunning Linguist amongst us!:D
