Hi all,

Does anyone know what the Panasonic TX28PL10 is like?

I briefly saw one in Martin Dawes and I need to replace my Toshiba 28Z06DB set as its faulty (at least I hope). The geometry is messed up, the colour levels have changed between RGB and the tuner and its out of focus at each corner. Nice!

I have been waiting for a Sony KV28FX65 for a few weeks but its gonna cost me £13 more a month and I'm getting a bit bored of waiting.

Anyone?

:)

There`s been a lot of talk about the new Panasonic TV`s on the Home Cinema Choice forum. http://www.avforums.com/

They all seem to suffer the same problem of faint lines appearing like ghosting when fed with an RGB signal, Panasonic know about the problem but don`t have a cure for it.

So i would be cautious when choosing !!

Cheers Carl

Just had some delivered, first impressions its very much like the old PK2 set picture wise, with no obvious problems.

Thanks for the replies.

So it would appear to be a safer bet waiting for the Sony then.

I suppose it can't be as bad as this Toshiba!

Damian,

This sounds familiar. Bought one from Allders a couple of months back with all the symptoms you described. Got it replaced with another one that was just as bad (both were same batch number.)

Sent the bugger back got me dosh and then got a Panny 32pk2 for £40 less (price matched by John Lewis and coming tomorrow)

Used to like Toshiba but now think they are absolute tosh !!

FB
