PS2 Speakers??

My 2nd DVD Player is a playstation 2 on a oldish Philips 28" w/screen telly. What is the cheapest and best way of getting great sound out of this, and what speakers should I buy? Is there a special speaker system designed for the PS2? DD /DTS would be nice!

It depends what you want and how much you want to pay.
If stereo, then you can get some powered speakers from the likes of logitech, screenbeat etc for around 30-50 notes.. If you need surround, then Creative do the Campridge soundworks, which has optical in, Built-in DD decoder etc (around 200 i think, but don't quote me on that). Or you could get the Videologic Digitherater, Either the DD or the enhanced DTS version. Now you're getting over the 300 quid mark.
