Saw this in Robert Sayle(john lewis) reduced so must be older stock, but is an AV reciever with dd,dts and speaker package, for £349 with two years parts and labour, but I cant find any info anywhere on the web, tried Justins page but the AV systems page has been down all day. Seemed like a good price. Anyone got/had one or offer any advice to where to look.
They also have the Pioneer Ns dv 55 for £399, not multiregion though.Yamaha VS10 for £299 in a horrible cheap looking black.
Ive got the technics dx940s system, it came with the matching speakers (no sub tho) I got it about a year ago for 500£, so 349 is a good price. The quality is superb, id compared this system with the Kenwood and Yamaha of same price and this one me over. Its dead easy to set up and the DTS output is amazing (Hanibal shoot out scene is fantastic!) Ihavent even needed to get a sub, just pumped the bass to max and ****** neighbours off! Not only is the sound quality good, but it lokos damn cool aswell, it may be a bit big for some people but it fits snuggly under my tv. There have been some problems with the amp overhaeting, but i have mine on all the time (for tv and hifi) and ive had no problems..altho it does feel hot after a day of constant use..its never cut out.
Hope this helps. Any other questions let me know!
