My sister is after a decent smallish TV. She was considering a 14" portable type - Sony for about £180.

I thought that it would be better to get an alternative brand.

Does anyone know anything about a decent TV (under £200).

I was considering the Aiwa TVSE2130 as Empire Direct sell it for £155.67 + delivery. They say that it is on back order and should be 7-10 days. Is it worth waiting for?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm looking for an extra TV since having a conservatory built, and was going to put the £99 widescreen TV from Currys in there until they got funny. :( Took another look around yesterday, and like the look of a 21" Toshiba selling at Empire Direct for £185.48 including delivery, and it's in stock. It has a 16:9 mode, plus it's capable of accepting PAL, NTSC, and SECAM signals, so copes with pretty much anything. Also NICAM and Teletext.

A friend of mine said her TV engineer recommended Toshiba TV's as they are purported to make some of the best tubes around.

Thanks for the info m8.

I'll have a look at the Toshiba.

Unbeatable are selling the Toshiba for £168.96 (see link below)

Do you know anyone who has had experience with this particular Toshiba?
