I saw a thread on here i'm sure, a few days ago about some 47p games. Flat out (xbox) was one of them. Hence i've been to my local, and found that the only ones they had were Brute force (xbox) and ninja gaiden (xbox) for 47p each.

Did they have covers and instructions? (Not that it matters for this price!)
Brute force were all sealed. NG had no cover or green case, just a clear amaray.

Cheers for the heads up. I picked up Brute Force and Flat Out tonight. No sign of Ninja Gaiden unfortunately. Both were stickered up at 9.99, but scanned up at 47p.
Don't suppose they'd got any more copies of Flat out had they? That was the game i was really looking for.
All scanned at the correct (£9.99 and £14.99) price in Norwich Dixons :(

if someone can nab me a flatout i will gladely pay good price, i was going to go to my local but too many gamers work there and know what is a good price.
This offer was done Monday/Tuesday and so nothing left.

On Friday in Canary Wharf picked up FlatOut, Voodoo Vince, Buffy, The Hobbit and Phantom Crash all for 47p each. The guy who served me told me he helped himself to 33 titles on the day they were all reduced, so no doubt there were other titles in the offer.
All scanned at the correct (£9.99 and £14.99) price in Norwich Dixons :(

Picked up another 4 today and traded them in for £11 at Game. :), none left for 47p at Canary Wharf if anyone is interested.

Because when you price check, it'll scan in with the old price. Something like that anyway.

Still worth checking out some of the stores.
The staff in Dixons in Worcester were very helpful. They offered to find all the 47p xbox games for me whilst I went off for a bit more shopping and a spot of lunch.
When I came back they had 18 games waiting for me. I asked why they hadn't bought them all already but they said that none of the staff had an xbox.
I only managed to spend £8.46

EDIT: Count yourself lucky. The woman that served me in Currys said she was going to go through all of the games and find all the 47p ones and buy them for herself.
If I hadn't have been in a rush I would have gone right then and picked up every game they had the asked her to price check every one for me.

Very little of anything at Derby Dixons - not much Xbox stock at all. Took a few newer titles up but they all scanned at marked price. Got Flat Out for 47p, though, so cheers OP!

Oh well, thanks to the OP
got flat out (last one), and Teminator 3 for 47p each for the Xbox. Also had Fifa 2004 (PC) for 97p so grabbed that too. Looks like some cheap xbox games priced at £xx.97 went through at 47p i.e. T3.

I picked up XIII for 47p for the xbox at my local dixons today.
:\ all mien were like a tenner, etc, do they price down when they run them thru the till ?
i managed to get max payne 2 for 2.47 tho and conflict desert storm for 1.97 :)

The games were priced up at normal prices. A girl was doing price changes and i heard her say 'oh, 47p , thats cheap' as she scanned it in. So i asked if theres anymore and she checked for me. She took a couple of PS2 ones for her self.
I have more to add to the list tonight (not @ home atm so can't post yet) Thanks for those who have added to the list so far, picked up 5 games :clap:
managed to pickup the only copy of Flat Out in Currys, there was nothing else left there or at PCWorld (Speke incase anyones planning on going) :(

I managed to grab a couple of these. One post mentions the staff grabbing some PS2 ones, any list of titles on PS2 which are 47p?
So far it seems to only be x box. Went to downham and in pc world they couldnt find the disc to brute force :thinking:
Still got Voodoo Vince and Great Escape, so cant complain.
will be checking the chorley branch on sat ( had a look last week but they were all at full price and didnt think of checking !! )
i will randomly try some that end in 97p to see whats going on ??
i know the woman who works in there - i wonder if her stock program thingy will list all the 47p games for me .. worth a try i suppose

Manager wanted to know how I hand plucked all the cheap ones :lol:
Tried some similar named titles on the PS2, they were cheap e.g. 4.99 but not 47p.
Timesplitters 2 on PS2 was however 47p, got one sealed :)
Funny thing, currys had Xiii on xbox for 47p bought it. Walked over to nearby PC world and this title was 4.99 when scanned????
Will let you know other titles as i find anymore.
none left - 47p for Yager (no cover)...

Well, I'm just met with the same answers during this bargain in various PCW/Dix/Currys stores:
1. "I can't find the disc"
2. "Ug, yeah, we all bought them all ourselves"
3. "They're all gone. Some guy came in and bought them all"
Some know it all till monkey refused to see me Soldier of Fortune and The Great Escape in becuase she "knew" this was a mistake.
The stores I looked in were West and South London stores/retail parks.
yep they had flat out for 47p - but no disk..
none in chorley - they said that someone came in with a list and bought them all .. hummmm :(
Went into the Basingstoke branch yesterday to have a look, and all the X Box stock in the sale was marked at either 4.99 or 9.99, there was only one think marked at 47p and that was some rubbish PC racing collection job.

Maybe, but I've bought multiple copies in the past of very cheap bargains that I've then passed on to friends and colleagues for either free (depending on how cheap it was) or the price I paid.

Got XIII, Gemna Onimusha and Backyard Wrestling.
Actually they did have a few of the £1-£5 games left but I didnt bother. Think Woking might have Conflict Desert Storm, Amped Classic and Max Payne 2 still.

Got Flat out, Buffy, Tony Hawk and Great Escape at Currys (Staples Corner branch). I tried Dixons at Brent Cross but they told me some guy turned up yesterday buying about 100 47p Xbox games!!! Even the manager was shocked when he saw that apparently. Only left was a box of Ninja Gaiden but the game CD/manual wasn't found.

Cardiff branches are out of stock of everything (that includes PC World, Currys and Dixons) to save anyone a journey. Someone seems to have cleaned them out as there was loads last week :(

i rang up my local which is about 15 mins drive away, and they only had mission impossible operation surma but no disc.
Dixons and PC World in the City had nothing today apart from Brute Force in Dixons Moorgate. Was (again) told someone came in armed with a list and cleared the cheap ones.
Clone Wars case was there, but no disc! Shame as this is the only one I am after.
London stores seem to have either been hit hard in the first days, or never had the stock anyway!
Went on the off chance to Dixons Brentwood today. Itsa bit out of the way but everywhere else in my area had sold out of everything.
There were multiple copies of Brute Force,Links 2004, the Hobbit,The great Escape and a couple of others I cannot remember.
I purchased one copy of each and left the rest for someone else to buy. Hope someone who needs them buys them rather than the vultures on ebay

Called into Dixons belfast, they had timesplitters 2 and true crimes, waited for them to find the discs, but turns out the couldn't find them :(

Yes, Bad Boys 2 is just a massive trainwreck. I couldn't play past the first level - the sheer rubbishness of the game is compounded by the fact that the voice-overs for Will Smith is being done by some annoying white guy.
I'm done with X-Box Starsky and Hutch and Midway Arcade Treasures, so if anyone wants those, they can have them for £1.75 inc P+P each.
I'd like them. :) I'll offer them up again as well.

Just for anyone on here who isn't also on MSE (why??) this is the link to their thread, where one of the members has posted a complete list of all 156 Xbox and 291 PS2 games that are 47p. Makes it very easy when you're browsing the shelves, but I still maintain it's worth looking through the ones they have out of the cases/behind the counter by getting talking with the staff, as there are often some there too.

Just picked up the last Midway Arcade Treasures from my local for 47p so no longer required dman i'm affraid.
The Killzone for 1p is no longer on at Currys. Its been removed from the system. I tried it today but the deal was no longer showing on the screen.
I drew a blank at PCWorld also. The checkout chick said the deal had expired, showing me her screen.
I was told by a friend, they could not get the deal at Dixons today either.

The whole of the 47p lists were posted on the MSE thread I mentioned above last week, for Xbox, PS2 and GBA/GBC. Good to hear about the new ones though, they are definitely clearing stock to make space, they've got loads of PSP UMDs in now, let alone when the PS3/X360 arrive.

Well XIII was £4.97 in the Glasgow store. Was the standard version (don't know if it's on Classic?) and I saw the lady scan it through - definitely came up as £4.97 on the screen.
Also, took a trip down to PC World and Curry's at Braehead.
PC World has Rainbox Six 3 and it did scan at 47p - only problem was they didn't have a disc!
Curry's had Unreal 2 and Dukes of Hazzard - both scanning at full price.

I was able to get Rogue Ops (rubbish game???) in Dixons Victoria for 97p, but Unreal 2 scanned at £19.99.
