Hi,
What's SVP's stance on damaged media? I've got down to the bottom of a 50 spindle of unbranded Datawrite Titanium DVD-Rs (order no MH37LE90058400), and of the last 25 or so, half have had a defect in them - when burnt there's a stripe of unwritten data in the middle of the disc - the same place every time - which causes certain players to choke or pause for a second or two. It looks like a manufacturing defect, something under the top coat which is preventing the media from being burnt. I threw away the first few which it appeared on, but have about 10 examples if you want me to send them back.
I'm about to order another spindle, but would like to sort this first, or at the same time.
Thanks,
