Compatible Disks for Sony DRU-510A

Hi

I have been having problems trying to find compatible full face printable DVD-R disks for one of my DVD-RW drives. The drive is a Sony DRU-510A using the latest firmware 1.1a.

The disks recently purchased all work fine on the Pioneer drives I have so it looks like a compatibility issue with the die used on the media and the drive.

Ritek x4 DV307 - These disks work fine
BulkPaq x8 - Fail to write any data
Datasafe x16 DV3315 - Fail to write any data
Datawrite x16 DV3227 - Fail to write any data

Do you know conclusively which disks work well with this writter or should I just try any RITEK G05 based disk (assuming the DV307 are G04).

These are a reliable full face printable disc that will work on your drive:
{DV 3234** Datasafe Pro (Taiyo Yuden) (8x) DVD-R in Spindle Tubs of 10 discs

The Sony should also work flawlessly with the G05 dye discs such as these: {DV 3192** Ritek Printable (8x) DVD-R in Packs of 50
