The ASUS DVD-E616A 1.08 firmware on your page, is it right?

I saw the 1.08 firmware on your page for the ASUS DVD-E616A, is the actually correct? I can only find the official 1.06 firmware, the 1.08 seems to be only out for the E616P2.

SVP, please can you confirm this is correct. It would be nice to know where you got it from.

Hi Frustin,

The FW1.08 is for the Asus DVD-E616A and it came direct from Asus to fhelp fix an issue with the Acard 121 duplicators.

I dont see it on their page at all or any sign of it on Google (only 1.06). Sorry to doubt but I just dont want to hurt my new drive. Got a link?

I'm shocked Asus haven't updated there site yet. We do get firmware updates here first as we pick up on the problems first and help company's like Asus and Pioneer to fix them.

I will contact Asus today and see why they haven't updated there site yet.

Firmware 1.08 is an official firmware update and you will not void your warranty using this update.
