Hi,

I'm a regular buyer from SVP and have been for several years but never had to return anything.

I opened a new spindle of 50 full face printable Traxdata 8x DVD-R 's and the first 10 discs have all failed. I used Alchol 120%, nero and they were both failing. I blamed everthing else until I opened a spindle of titaniums which i have never used before and they are burning flawlessly.

I usually always buy the Traxdata ones from you.

Back to my original question..... The traxdatas were bought maybe as much as 2 months ago but only opened yesterday. Is that too long to ask for replacements?

If it means anything each disc seems stuck to the one below it. More than they usually are.

Hi Moko7t8

Not a problem.

Email us on sales@svp.co.uk with the details of your writer /setup (We might be able to solve the problem for you).

If we can't solve the problem, of course we'll exchange the discs for you.

I'm sorry if I'm hijacking this thread, but I've had what sounds like the same problems with full face printable dvd-r's from SVP recently as well.

Not sure of the brand, but I'm sure they're Traxdata G04 dye (code in centre is J4-06A02409172719D12). At the time I bought 4 x 25 packs.

The thing is I bought them a while ago as well. I now recently got round to using them and after getting about 20 coasters from under 2 packs (I was roughly alternating good burns and bad burns, with nothing running in the background, so my setup must be ok). I used a Pioneer 109 bought from SVP with firmware 1.58, the most recent Nero, and my ASPI drivers stated as installed ok by Nero infotool.

And finally get to my point! I found that if I dropped the burning speed to x2 this has stopped the coasters (so far).
