Does this have an external PSU or is it integral to the unit? Also who manufactures these and what material is it made from? Thanks.

I have several of these. They are plastic and use a external psu. They are made by Sumvision. I use a Pioneer 109 in one and two hard disks in two others.

All three have been superb and I recommend.

Yeah, excellent bit of kit. Power supply is external (same sort of thing you get on many PC TFTs).

Very useful item.
