I'm thinking of getting a new camera and I'm looking at one auction for a D70s in particular.
The guy seems honest has answered all my questions, but.. the majority of bids on his auction are by a pair of no feedback bidders and some very low feedback bidders.

Am I right to be suspicious? As this is, for me, a high purchase item I thought I'd ask what Ebayers with more experience thought Link (http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=7619312598) .

Look at his feedback -always important.

Seems ok to me - good feedback - the other bidder may just have joined e-bay to get a camera.

looks fine, ben9028, pikeyno1 and adrian7273 have all been bidding on various D70/100's being sold by various sellers over the past few days so it's not shill bidding.

Ok, just seemed suspicious that those members had been on Ebay a year, not won anything and were bidding on an expensive item. :suspect:

Thanks guys, with so many scams going on ebay lately I guess my paranoia just got the better of me.

it's more likely the seller of this item is going to be scammed than you are.

shill bidding isn't a huge problem, as long as you stick to what you are prepared to pay. Which is why I like snipes. Just set my max, forget about it, and don't get into bidding wars with shills.
