Needed to charge my phone (3510i) and had left my charger at work so had a dig through my box of misc PC/electrical stuff and found a nokia charger from an older phone. Connector fitted OK so gave it a go and got a not charging message. Had another look through my box of bits and found a USB charger which I know I have used sucessfully before, and it is giving the same message.
Having given it some logical thought, USB chargers are very cheep and have no real electronics in them so probably just supple the power directly, and USB is 5V AFAIK, which would make my a standard nokia charger about 5V as well... the OLD nokia charger I had found (and which plugged in to the phone fine) appears to be rated at 10V :(
I've blown the charging circuit on my phone haven't I?
Might be time to get the V3 I have been telling myself I don't realy need for ages LOL
