HD DVD / DVD Combo Question

I've been trying to find a definitive answer to this, but had no luck.

With Warner's HD DVD / DVD Combo discs, such as "Firewall" and "Rumour Has It", I understand that the disc is double sided, and the HD DVD is a single layer (HD-15), but what about the DVD part? Is it a DVD-5 or DVD-9?

It says that it's 15GB for the HD-DVD layer and DVD-9 for the DVD side of the disc, at least on the discs that are being released in this article.
