I see the R2 release sees the light of day on the 14th. Does anybody know much about how this will compare to the other versions out there?
Edited - poor punctuation.

Check out www.dvdcompare.org.uk for a comparison :) It would appear the R2 takes the best bits from both R1 versions available, including chronoligca access as the easter egg! I'll b getting the R2 :) Amazing film!!
Not sure if you guys have heard but there is a rumoured SE of Memento out in April.
Vague details here http://www.dvdshrine.com/index.shtml
Just as i was about to go R2 aswell:rolleyes:

Thanks guys, been waiting ages to see this film so I'm just going to go with the R2. The S.E. will only contain a whole load of stuff that i'll never watch anyway!

Call me thick as pig-****, but I watched this again tonight, in glorious HD Bluray, and I still can't figure what the heck Dodd has to do with anything.
Any ideas appreciated.

It's been a while since I saw it, but...
wasn't Dodd meant to be involved with Jimmy's drug-dealing business, and was trying to get money out of Natalie? (probably the money that's in the boot of the car). She uses Lenny's condition to trick him into getting rid of Dodd.

Yeah that's what I thought, but for a movie so critical of detail, it seems a rather casual thread of the plot.

That sir is a great link - ta
lots of memento threads!
Just rewatched - in a Nolan phase...
Right - who is he on the phone to on the B&W footage?
Oops, I mean Teddy!
(Jimmy was the drug dealer with the Jag).

Jimmy.
I always thought it was Teddy.
(edit: Snap!)
Ahem. Confusing film, clearly. :D
the link above is a great site - but doesn't say who hes on the phone to.
Anyway brilliant film - if you haven't seen it then make sure you do (several times).

It's so obviously Teddy, at the end of the call he arranges to meet him in the lobby and then does.
Spoilers?
Only for the first half of the story...

Spoilers?
Sorry, have changed out of respect for anyone that hasn't seen it but it's not really much of a spoiler (if one at all).

Yes you are right... I think ;)
