I've had my Canon for around 2 years now, just noticed the battery appears to drain very quickly, then the charger shows it full also very quickly!

However putting it back in the camera, and the camera only shows 50% full.

I'm hoping it's just the battery that has worn out, would people agree?

If so any recommended places to get replacements from?

I've seen some non Canon batteries on ebay that appear very cheap, does anyone have any experience of non-OEM batteries?

regards,

Greg

I had the same thing happen - I'm pretty sure it's just the battery getting old and sad. The best place I've found for replacements is 7DayShop (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.awin1.com/awclick.php?mid=530&gid=6083&id=30372) - there's a link to them under "Electrical & Photo" at the top of this page. Their non-OEM batteries are absolutely fine.

As above 7DayShop (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.awin1.com/awclick.php?mid=530&gid=6083&id=30372) were flogging non canon at two for a tenner a while back.
