Mine was 10.6% if put down all meals as eating at home. Drops down to 5.6% if every meal eaten out

Haven't got a clue about accurate amounts for most of those things but I tried to be generous.

Still came it at my cost of living going up 2.7% per year. No complaints here.

6.9% suppose its not too bad considering the amount I eat out!

Apparently 5.7% but I had no real idea on half the figures so had to guesstimate.

Luckily getting a 5% pay rise in October.

I try to compensate for the increased expense of food and fuel by buying cheaper DVDs (Play-trade, Amazon Marketplace, E-bay etc)

Pity our income hasn't gone up by that much. Most of our money goes on petrol, food, gas & electric. We don't eat out, cook as much as possible from scratch, very rarely buy anything for ourselves and if we do buy anything it's normally because we need it. I'm dreading the winter months because I know I'm going to be spending loads on gas and our petrol costs have jumped up in the past couple of months because hubby has started to go to hospital 3 times a week for dialysis. I feel for folks on a really low income who are having to make a choice between food or heating.
