I'm self-employed, so submit my self assessment thing (via my accountant). The return I'll be sending in January 2009 - what dates is that for? What tax year?

You can submit your tax return any time after April till January the following year, but I advise getting it done immediately, it allows you to budget for any tax that needs to pay in Jan (you can pay it earlier too)

Thanks - am working on it now to submit it early.

Would never pay a tax bill early though!! :eek:
