Sadly no longer with us but his genius lives on in his movies, three of which are released in May by Carlton. Details here (http://www.r2-dvd.org/article.jsp?sectionId=2&articleId=3667)
Shaping up to be an excellent year for fans of vintage British comedy with the Alec Guinness and Peter Sellers releases from Anchor Bay also due.
[EDIT] This corrected post was made possible by the selfless dedication of andrewcalderuk. I am indebted to him.

Oh Joy! :D
I've had TT on my watch list at Amazon and Blackstar for longer than I can believe.
Incidentally, I was contacted by his daughter some time ago; she's apparently compiling material for an upcoming biography of the old cad.
But where is School for Scoundrels? :(

FYI Carlton Browne of the F.O. is being released by Anchor Bay but only as part of the Peter Sellers box set.

I take it there was no restoration or clean-up on the transfered film? What a shame!

Obviously I take no pleasure in pointing this out jonathan, but there seems to be a hyphen out of place in your thread title.
