Yes, please post the comparisons so everyone can see just how disgusting what I'm looking at is. I was fearful of this - and it's worse than I could have imagined - the old DVD wasn't any great shakes, but I'll be keeping it, if these caps are anything to go by. I look forward to the comments about how it's perfectly fine, and maybe it will be better than these caps suggest, but based on even the HTF's reviewer's comments (too yellow - prefers the color on the first DVD), I think we know what we're in for.
It's not that Warners can't do it - they can - I'm watching Prince Of the City and it looks great - perfect color - not brown, not yellow, plenty of blue - nice. So, it's apparently only the people "colorizing" (for that's what they're doing, the same as doing colorization of a black and white film, IMO) for their classics should be run out of town on a rail.
